Busy Weekend!

This weekend, I went to this science thing, called FIST, or "Females In Science and Technology." We had 2 "classes" in the morning, and one in the afternoon. I missed most of the first class, because a) we forgot to pack a lunch, so we had to stop at freshgo, and when my dad got his coffee, he ran into Mrs. Briant, Tessa & Gabriel's mom, so that wasted 15 minutes, when we were already late, b) we drove to the old Blair high school, not the new one, and c) my dad's care broke down. First class was "Life in a drop of water" which was actually pretty cool, cuz my friend foung little worm things, called planaria, that were so cute! Heh, they had white dots at one end, with a black dot in both white dots, so it looked like they were cross-eyed, and they had little ear things on the same end, so they were so cute! We named them: Blubber, Scrunchy, Twitch, and Shrimp. Blubber was the first, then my friend named Scrunchy, and I named Twitch, the biggest, because he kept wiggling his nose like he was sniffing, and I named Shrimp, cuz he ws so small. Next class was Cryptography, codes, and Cyphers. It was COOL! We decoded messages, and...... they were quotes from Monty Python's Holy Grail!!!! My favorite: "I don't wanna talk to you no more, you animal-food-trough-water. I fart in you general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!!" hehehehehe!!!! Next class was extreeme science, which mmight have been cool, except for the fact that someone set off the fire alarm at the beggining of the class! Aparently someone hit a sprinkler, which automatically triggered the fire alarm. So we went outside, and we ended up playing capture the flag: middle schoolers vs. high schoolers. Even though we had about 3 times mre people than they did, we still lost. Heh, we suck. The problem was that some of them were so short, we didn't know whose team they were on. Oh, and I met some really preppy girls from Gaithersburg, and they said that FL was wierd, and Hope neighed alot. One girl, who was friends with Josh, even said that Stas *puke, gag, puches girl in gut, pukes some more* was CUTE!! last night, we went out to a Wizards game for my brother's birthday, and my mom ws the only one who liked the Wizzards, because they were playing the Nets. The Nets won, of course, 102 to 93. Umm, that's all folks, tatah for now!
